New EMC storage array is world's largest, fastest and most scalable: EMC President and CEO Joe Tucci (left) and David Donatelli, EMC Executive Vice President of Storage Platform Operations, unveil EMC's new Symmetrix DMX-3 high-end storage system, announced today. The system is capable of scaling to store one petabyte of data -- 1,024 terabytes -- capacity equivalent to 250 million digital songs or 20 million four drawer filing cabinets filled with text.
